ABOUT DRIP FILTER
Drip filter coffee is one of the most consistent and approachable brewing methods. Water flows evenly through the coffee bed, producing a clean, balanced cup that highlights clarity and flavour. It’s an excellent way to brew larger batches while maintaining quality.
TIPS
If your coffee tastes weak or sour, try grinding slightly finer or increasing your coffee dose.
If it tastes overly bitter or heavy, your grind may be too fine. Adjust by grinding a little coarser or reducing the dose slightly.
Fresh, filtered water and freshly ground coffee will make a noticeable difference in the final cup.
METHOD
- Fill the machine with fresh, filtered water.
- Insert a paper filter and rinse it with hot water to remove any paper taste.
- Grind coffee to a medium consistency, similar to sea salt.
- Add coffee to the filter, using a ratio of 60g per liter of water.
- Start the brew cycle and allow the machine to complete extraction.
